Outlook is Microsoft's email and calendar app, available on Windows, Mac, the web, iPhone and Android. It handles Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 accounts and can add Gmail and other accounts too.
Built-in features that help with volume include the Focused Inbox, which separates important mail from the rest, rules that move mail by sender or keyword, and sweep, which clears out old messages from a sender in one step.
Copilot, Microsoft's AI assistant, can summarize long threads, suggest replies and help draft new messages in Outlook when your plan includes it. Which Copilot features you get depends on your Microsoft 365 plan and your organization's settings, so check with your admin or Microsoft's plan pages. Outlook can also schedule sends and flag messages for follow-up on a date you pick.
