About MailOverload

Most people did not choose to get two hundred emails a day. It built up from newsletters, notifications, cc lines and team threads, and the usual advice of "just check it twice a day" does not survive a busy week.

A lot of tools now promise to fix this with AI, and the lists that compare them online are often written by the companies being compared. MailOverload is our attempt at something more useful: a plain list of tools grouped by the part of the problem they solve, each described in our own words, with no scores and no paid rankings. It is meant for people who want to spend less time in their inbox, including the time spent choosing a tool to help.

We list tools that help with that job, describe what they do and which accounts they work with, and flag what to check before giving any of them access to your mail.

A tool is listed once we have confirmed that its official site is live and that it does the job its description says. We write every description in our own words and keep them short. We do not copy marketing text, publish scores or rank tools against each other.

Tools that read your mail get a closer look at what access they ask for. Anything we cannot confirm stays unpublished until we can, and we remove tools that shut down.
